VILLAGERS ANNOUNCE HEADLINING DATES AND LIMITED EDITION 7

Your chances to see Villagers play live have greatly increased! In addition to UK and European tour dates with Grizzly Bear, Villagers have announced details of some intimate headline shows, with a London date at the Borderline on 23rd October. Tickets are onsale for all dates now. Full dates with ticket links are below, with newly added headline shows in bold.

But just before we get to those dates, you've no doubt already heard the new Villagers single. A beautiful sweeping song which kickstarts into life with an electronic pulse and builds to a dramatic string laden climax, "The Waves" is available to purchase now through iTunes but we can announce that it will also be released on special limited edition 7” on 22nd October 2012. The 7” single, limited to an edition of 500 worldwide, comes on heavy weight vinyl in a deluxe fold out cruciform sleeve. The B-side is "Memoir", a song originally written by Conor O'Brien for Charlotte Gainsbourg, now recorded for the first time by Villagers. To pre-order the 7” click HERE.
