PEAKING LIGHTS RETURN TO THE UK FOR AMAZING AND WONDERFUL SUMMERTIME SHOWS
Peaking Lights | 20/02/12
Indra Dunis and Aaron Coyes, AKA Wisconsin's Peaking Lights (described by one particularly enraptured reviewer as "the most exciting band I have seen in fucking years. Full fucking stop.") are returning to the UK to hypnotise and delight audiences with their swirling bliss of dubby majesty for some hotly-anticipated shows this summer, with some guaranteed-to-be-showstopping festival performances as well as a couple of headline shows in London and Leeds. So make sure to mark these dates in your diary now, because they really are something very special live:
- Saturday 2nd of June – London, Field Day
- Sunday 3rd of June – Dublin, Forbidden Fruit
- Tuesday 5th of June – Leeds, Brudenell*
- Wednesday 6th of June – London, XOYO*
- Friday 17th August – North Yorkshire, Beacons Festival
- Saturday 18th August – Brecon Beacons, Green Man Festival

The frankly unfairly-talented Dunis and Coyes have had a hugely busy and successful 2011, releasing not only their majestic (and critically adored) album 936 in November, which rocketed immediately into many critics' end-of-year lists, but also a fully-functioning human child, a fixture of their touring set up last year.
They are currently putting the finishing touches to their new, as-yet-untitled masterpiece, which will see a summer release – more news to follow soon. Incidentally, we're talking about a new record rather than another baby, although you never know...
