DIRTY PROJECTOR'S EXCLUSIVE BBC SESSION

Dirty Projectors cap off a year of critically acclaimed productivity with an astounding live session for Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1 which is bound to put a grin on fan’s faces. The session which was recently recorded at Maida Vale studios features the band playing a number of brilliant tracks from the bands most recent album, ‘Bitte Orca’, but in typically restless Dirty Projectors style, these sessions show how over the past twelve months the album tracks have evolved into very different creatures when played live, reinterpreting the originals and taking them to weird and wonderful places.

The first track from the session will be debuted at 9pm (GMT) on 22nd December 2010, with three further tracks to be played between midnight and 2am on 23rd December 2010. For those of you in the UK tune into 97-99 FM, on DAB or online where you will be able to hear the shows for 7 days afterwards.
