If the photo didn’t already give it away, here at Domino we’re in the festive spirit, and we’re celebrating with the release of the new single by Robert Wyatt, Gilad Atzmon and Ros Stephen, 'What A Wonderful World', released digitally on 13th December 2010.

In case you were wondering, ‘What A Wonderful World’ is indeed a cover of the Louis Armstrong standard, and Mr Wyatt and co, as can be expected, put their own unique stamp on things, encouraging listeners to fully take on board the deep lyrical meaning behind a song many may have unfairly come to identify as merely a ‘guilty pleasure.’ In Wyatt’s own words, “Our ‘Wonderful World’  is not sarcastic, ironic or even just sentimental. It's Social Realism: not the WHOLE  truth, but nevertheless The truth.”

The single is now available to pre-order here

Also, For The Ghosts Within, the critically acclaimed collaborative album between Wyatt, Atzmon and Stephen is available to order here.

Anyway, it may seem a tad premature, but with the news of this release we feel it’s the perfect time to say Merry Christmas from Domino and Merry Christmas from Robert Wyatt and co.
